In partnership with Norfolk District Attorney Michael W. Morrissey’s Office, we have taken part in a program to provide the residents of Avon and Norfolk County with a safe, convenient, accessible facility to dispose of unwanted prescription medications. It is important to remember that research indicates that many young people who start experimenting with dangerous opiates, all too often discovered them in the family medicine cabinet or that of a friend or relative. Prescription medications that are flushed or poured down the drain can end up contaminating our water supplies. Please visit our station anytime and we can assist you with safe disposal.
