The Avon Police Department is compiling an updated DO NOT KNOCK Registry which will allow residents to submit their name, address, telephone number and e-mail address to the Police Department for inclusion on the Registry. A list containing ONLY the address of registrants will be provided to individuals who are issued a permit to solicit in Avon. Solicitors will be instructed not to solicit or canvass at any residence on the list. If you are already on the list, we are asking that you please submit an updated request.
Note: Members of religious groups, political or political action groups who appear at a residence for those purposes are exempt from this restriction.
Residents who wish to be added to the list may do so electronically by clicking here or may submit the uploaded file to the Police Department. Instructions on how to send back hard copy forms can be found on the form itself.
